Virtual Memory Size

Someone help me on this issue please:

One of friends made a recommendation to me to set virtual memory Initial Size = Maximum Size and stated that it can prevent disk fragmentation baused by paging file? Is this correct? I searched MS Technet and unable to find any info about setting virtual memory initial size = maximum size. I used “virtual memory initial size = maximum size” some of NT4.0 with SP5 servers. But it seems causing some series problem on virtual memory. Can anyone give me some recommendation where I can find any tech info about this “virtual memory initial size = maximum size”?
