virtual memory with ramdrive

i had a problem with ramdisk.sys in windows it seems i cannot use it as my virtual memory why is it?or do i need a special software for this type of job. since the prices of memory drops dramatically i wanted to create a ramdrive as a virtual memoryis that possible?
