Virus

I have a Win98 OS which on logging on the net keeps getting infected with viruses But my other OS (2000,Advance 2000 and 2003 server)dont get it, although I have the latest norton antivirus 2003 and I keep downloading updates and patches but it seems ineffective and still my OS keeps gettin infected.
Any suggesstions will be welcome.
