virus in Yahoo

I’m new here and hope this is the right sector to ask: I apparently picked up a virus in Yahoo Groups that has now spread to Yahoo mail. When I try to access Groups all I get is “gobbledygook” – meaningless letters and numbers. Has anyone else hadthis problem? How can it be eliminated? Thanks for any help.
