I received an email at home, that I DID NOT open, But I believe someone at home did. My friend received the same email (someone who knew both of us?)and her Norton Antivirus caught the virus before it caused any damange. Mine did not. I cannot access Norton, it stays up for a few seconds then closes itself. I have gone to Symantes and downloaded all the fixes for trojans and worms, they all say I am not infected. Even the scan that Symantec offers to anyone came up with no virus detected. Onereally strange thing though, it keeps telling me I need to upgrade ex[plorer, that mine is 5.0 or less. and that I must have allow active x, but in actuality I am using Explore 6.0 and I have active x enabled. Any ideas out there? I have scanned thecomputer with my recovery disks and still the computer says no virus. Any idea how I can fix this?
