I have just got a Sony Vaio laptop running Vista Business, and wish to add it to my XP Pro Network.
My network consists of:
2 x XP Pro Machines on ‘WORKGROUP’ (Wired conection)
2 x XP Pro Laptops on ‘WORKGROUP’ (Wireless)
1x Wireless Router
2 x Printers (Wired)
1 x NAS Drive (Wired)
All of the XP machines have LLTD installed and I am able to view all of the machines (although not printers and the NAS drive) through the Network Map feature on my VISTA laptop.
I am, however, unable to access any of the machines that are in view, and can not see my VISTA machine on any of the XP Pro machines.
Is someone able to offer any advice?
All machines are running AVG Anivirus software (which Grisoft have confirmed that this should not provide any problem).
The NAS drive is a big problem for me also, as this is a central storage point for the network, and it is crutial that my VISTA laptop is able to access this drive.
