Vista-S6E SCSI Scanner & UDS-IS11 Card

I have a Umax Vista-S6E scanner with a UDS-IS11 ISA SCSI card, but I’m unable to connect the scanner to the computer, the card is known to be good however Windows 98 fails to recognise it, I have attempted to use different download drivers, but to no avail.
I have made nessecary checks to the hardware, but there seems to be no problems with it.
