Vnssdlcp not started

I have a user that just recently received a message indicating that the Vnssdlcp service did not start up. I found these on my system and it’s an .sys and a .vxd. Any ideas on how to correct this problem? I thought about copying to his directory but I’m unable to see these files on the disk or on our Public Directory that I copied them to. It’s not stopping him from working but he visits me every day now.
