VPN error

I was working on a Windows 2000 Professional machine, setting up the VPN for it.
When I tried to test the working connection it worked fine twice. Then I started receiving error 619 stating that “The port was disconnected”. Then when it redails after the 60 second wait it connects successfully. Now I receive another error that states that “One or more requested network protocols did not connect successfully. TCP/IP CP connected successfully
NetBEUI CP reported error 733. Your computer andthe remote computer could not agree on PPP control protocols.”
Then I’m given the option to accept (then VPN states that it is connected), or Hangup.
