VxDMon.vxd

I have a Win98 sytem that can’t find the VxDMon.vxd file at boot up. I have tried reinstalling the System Monitor resource of Windows and unistalling it, but it still looks for it. How do I etheir remove this call, or replace it. I don’t need theresource monitor so I’d rather remove it.
