W2000 not seeing SCSI CD-ROM

I’m having a problem with a Win2000 (SP2) machine not seeing a SCSI CD-ROM in Windows Explorer, but the Device Manager does see that it’s there and working properly. Termination is set, the SCSI ID is correct, the drive is fine, SCSI utility sees it.
Any thoughts?
