W2K and Windows XP

Well, i need suggetion and advice from you all.

I am planning to earn MCSE 2000 cert although i am lack of experience from this area. I am planning to buy a PC for testing and practice.

What i know is Microsoft will going to launch its new OS call XP, i am confuse with this two OS: 2000 and XP. I know that Microsoft will going to change the cert again. What i am cunfuse here is do i need to take MCSE cert or only get a MCP cert or wait for other cert that is for XP?
