W2K RAS Connections

We have had problem with the RAS connection definitions disappearing on our W2k Professional laptops. I am not sure, but I think it may be realted to mking changes in the Group Policy. Although we do not have anything about RAS connections configured.
WE have been working on setting default paths for My Documents.

Any ideas appreaciated.
