Scanning under W98se, and using latest chipset drivers (4in1429v) for a motherboard Asus A7V133, and using HP ScanJet5200c updated with latest Driver and conected to the USB ports, is allmost impossible to finish a scanning session, Is hanging for 3or 4 minutes before completing the scan, and or somentimes it hangs more than 3 to 6mts without finishing the scan, Win98se updated with USB patch (usbf108.exe) downloaded from microsoft, Bios USB enabled, no Irq conflicts, Using Cannon Printer BJC-8200 conected to the same USB ports functions perfectly, this happens not only when using Photoshop 5.0 it happens as well with Corel Draw 9. This is a challenge, Contacted USB Pci vendors, HP Technicians, Motherboard vendor and still no solution, (?), Thanks for any input regarding to this problem.
