Wanting to upgrade from 98 to XP.

I am currently running win 98 SE on my system.
System:
Abit KT-133 raid
Geforce ddr video card
256 M Ram
Creative soundblaster Audio
IBM deskstar 20 G HD
What is the best course of action for me to install Win XP in place of Win 98. And how? I am looking for a good webpage or documentation on the steps needed.
