Web Pages Crashing IE5 on NT 4.0 SP 5&6A

We are experiencing a strange condition with NT Workstations. When we attempt to connect to a specific chat server running eShare software, it crashes IE with a 4097 Dr. Watson Error. Microsoft says this is a bindings error. These machines are all running TCP/IP and NetBeui only. This error does not happen to Win98/2000/ME.
