Webpages not displaying correctly

Hello, we have a user PC that has trouble displaying pages that have javascript code in them. In place of what you’re supposed to see is the javascript code itself.
So far I’ve upgraded IE (from 5.5 to 6.0), I’ve installed the Java runtime from Sun, I tried setting the user’s IE security settings to minimum. It only seems to be Java script causing the problem, though I only spent a few minutes in front of the system myself. She is also receiving an “IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL” error that started about the same time as the webpage problem. I’m hoping that if I resolve one then the other will be resolved, even though that seems unlikely here.
