WFV folders in WINNT folder

My server has many WFV folders, each containing what appears to be one ppmusset.dll file and 32 *.sty files of which these appear to be a music types like ragtime.sty, rag.sty, rock1.sty, and rock3.sty. What would cause the server to be storing these folders? Any suggestions greatly appreciated
