What is a good router for home networking?

by jkaras . Updated 22 years, 9 months ago

Hey everyone after looking at the previous post concerning geekdom, it pointed out home networking proficiency. I am trying for the first time to network at home on DSL connection with two computers to share the bandwith, printer while maintaining decent performance. My question is this, since I’m a major noob with routers and hubs, which brand with 4 port do you trust with easy install? Their are so many on the market and so far I found a D-Link DI-704P 4-Port 10/100 Router/Print Server that is a refurb. I’m not looking to get carried away buying major top of the line but looking for quality, more bang for my buck so to speak. After reading that post many of you boast profeciency in this area and I respectfully ask you opinions that have so far netted me fantastic results. What do you people use, perks that came with, and its dependabilty, and what to stay away from? Thanks a million as always. Happy Labor Day to all this upcoming weekend “eat, drink and be merry” to quote Dave Matthews.
