What is Gck.exe? in Windows 98 on a 300M

It occurs in Startup. If I disable it by running Msconfig, and removing the tick, it goes into the Disabled Startup items folder, then reappears in startup. If I rename it Gck1.exe, it reappears in Startup as Gck1.exe. If I delete it, it reappears in Startup.
