What is msdtcw.exe

I got the vbs/sst virus yesterday. I cleaned and re-scanned my machine and then rebooted. Rebooting put me into safe mode, and I booted again. Windows hung. Using CRTL/ATL/DEL, I saw that a program called msdtcw was not responding. This programresides in the windows/system directory but I don’t know what it is.

Can anyone help?
