What program do I need to run Xbox360 through a VGA cable to notebook LCD?

What program can I use to see an image displayed through my Xbox 360 onto my laptop LCD monitor? When I connect the Xbox 360 with the VGA cable, I can hear sound but I cannot see an image. My different display setting options don’t seem to provide me with a picture. I just want to use my laptop LCD screen as a monitor to play the 360.
