What will happen if…? (WINS Server)

What will happen to client PC’s, my job, if I delete a WINS server based on a NIC that is connected to DSL/ISP?

I’m running MS Small business server v4.5 with NT v4.0. I’m running DHCP, WINS, Proxy. I have two NIC’s installed. One is for the internal network. It is configured in WINS as a server. The second NIC is configured for the Internet service which is accessed through proxy server. I found that it is a WINS server. If I delete the Internet connected WINS server, will WINS operate correctly on the NIC used internally?
