Whe does windows explorer keep crashing?

I am running Windows 98SE. Windows explorer causes me to reboot my computer several times a day. I have tried the windows shortcut for explorer “C:\WINDOWS\EXPLORER.EXE /n,/e,/select,C:\” and have also deleted the keys in the registry via regedit from a previous Techrepublic article. I may get to use Windows explorer a few times at the beginning of the day before it decides to stop responding. What can I do to fix this??
