Where are my printers? Their gone!

3 HP printers connected with jet direct cards. Shared off the server. Everyday at least once, no one can print. When you look in the printers folder they are not there. Have to shut down the server at least once sometimes twice before they come back. Have tried all of the other suggestions in this forum.
