Where to download MS patches/updates.

In an earlier question someone asked about downloading patches/updates for WIN9X. Everyone commented on how to install them on the machines. My question is “Where can I download them?” when you go to the updates page it installs them automatically, “is there a way to save them as a file for later use?”
