We have 3 exchange servers running Exchange 5.5 Enterprise. We have the following size Information store 22 Gigs, 13 gig, 12 gig. The reason the store is so big is because we did a migration from Digital Team Links (A proprietary mail system from Digital). People were just using it to store documents in it. Now that we have migrated over to Exchange, we have these huge stores. I know one of the big things about Exchange Enterprise 5.5 was unlimited Store size but; we have 228,797 attachments and 378,161 messages on one of the servers. The total size of all the attachments is 14.8 Gigs while the messages are only 627MB! The users are used to using Outlook the way it is now with the attachments kept in folders in their mailbox. What would you do?
