Where’s the QUICK LAUNCH toolbar?

I recently lost my QUICK LAUNCH toolbar from my task bar. I can still find the QUICK LAUNCH folder in the following path:
C:\Documents and Settings\my profile\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\
however, it no longer displays in the task bar.
How can I get the QUICK LAUNCH icons to display in my task bar again?
