I am trying to develop a more complete backup solution for my servers. Day to day I backup all my users home directories, and my Exchange Server, as well as a Database I have running on one of the servers.
I am not however backing up any system files or config e.g. DNS/ DHCP settings, or my user manager.
Could someone please give me a concise list of what I need to backup on an NT server, I am going crazy researching this and not finding one straight answer on WHICH directories and files I should backup on an NT server to facilitate a successful re-build with all my users, shares, and DNS/DHCP settings saved should the worst happen.
remember I want files/ folders/ registry keys, ERD practises that kind of thing, and all in one answer or link if the points are to be yours.
