Which software to use for making IMAGES of whole system?

Im tiered of always having to reinstall all systems from scratch…drivers…software…configuration..etc.

There are software where you can create Images of teh whole drive.

I need one that loads from boot up without windows installed and loads the Image i want from and external drive or source.

So if a computer system fails. I just restart…load the IMAGE software from DOS in boot up…point it to an image on the hard disk (another partition perhaps) and just load the whole thing.

This would be nice because i can install the whole system with 2 partitions. And can just restore the image anytime windows completly fails from Dos or boot up.

Is there any software out there that does this?

Does Norton ghost start from Dos?
