Why Access 2K crash formatting report?

I have a report in Access 2000 (SR-1) involving one sub-report. Under Windows 98 the report formats and displays fine. But in NT or Windows 2000 the same report crashes while formatting. (Other reports in the same .mdb, some seemingly more complex, run fien on either O.S.)

Why and, more to the point, what can be done to allow it to format and display?
