(Why) Access Is Denied!

My co-worker and I have recently updated to 5.50.4522.1800 version of IE, and we are unable to use any functionality in a web site that opens a new window…not through TARGET or javascript or shift clicking a link. When we get the error message, it just says Access is denied. Another coworker has the same version as us and does not have the problem.

We are running Windows 2000 Server with all the latest critical updates. We have admin access on our machines. We have just reset all thepermissions on the C drive and that did not work.

20 reboots didn’t solve it either.
