Why does the web page look different?

by bob a . Updated 23 years, 2 months ago

My organzation recently purchase 5 new computers. All with basically the same specs hardware/software all using Win 2K. When you open a browser window on two of them, the text fills the screen. On the three others the text is smaller and only takes up 2/3 of the browser window. A prime example is msn.com. On two of them the width of the page matches exactly the open browser window and the other three the font is alot smaller and does not fill the window.
We’ve messed with the display propertysetting and changed them to be appropriate to the monitor size and changed the text size in IE under View. We also set played with the accesibilty options under IE tools options, to no avail. Any other ideas? I can’t find anything under the Microsoft Knowledge Base, but I find it to be hit or miss most of the time!
