Wierd graphic card fault?

Hi everyone,

I have fitted an existing hard drive into another machine, obviously they have different motherboards, everything was O.K. until I found the graphics card only showed 16 colours, I installed the correct drivers for it off the supplied CD and it still would not work, I took out the original video card out of the machine that the hard drive came from and installed that, still no Joy.

Can anyone shed any light on how I can get around this problem, I have removed the card in Device manager and installed a new video card (sis chipset) and this new card will not configure. The new motherboard is a QDI advance 9. The old motherboard was a jetway 542.
