WiFi Problem

I am running a D-Link Wireless router- (4 port)switch and 2 wireless notebooks. Gateway Desktop hardwired, runs normally.
Dell Inspiron connects through the router, no problem getting to I-Net. Built-in wireless hardware.
Gateway Laptop (pcmcia card D-Link) “sees” other PC’s on the LAN, but no Internet. I am a computer Pro, so all of the usual stuff has been confirmed (tcp/ip), settings, etc.
Any help appreciated…
