Win 2000 Prof , inaccesable boot device

After cloning a hdd with norton ghost 2001, I inserted the new hdd in another pc with new motherboard. The machine boots up with Win 2000 Pro, after the ruler bar appeared, a blue screen appears “stop 0X00000007b(…..,00000034,….)
inaccesable boot device. Tried cloning 4 times, and tried original hdd, with the same error. HDD works fine in old pc. Also tried Win repair. HDD not faulty.
