win 2k dns service and win98/95 clients

hello all,

I have a Windows 2k server that has DHCP and DNS services running fine and serving Windows 2k clients fine and dandy but when I try to get Win98/95 clients to use DHCP/DNS services on the Win2k server, I get dodgy results. The Win98/95clients will load some sites and will not load others. Oddly enough, they will load apple.com but not microsoft.com. It is pretty hit&miss with no rational pattern. The Win2k clients use IE5 and we have tried IE 5.5 and IE 5 on the Win9x clients with no luck. Is there something obvious that we are missing?
