Win 95 Client

Moving old PC running Windows 95 off the Novell server onto Microsoft server. Problem is that the ‘Client for Microsoft Networks’ is missing as a choice and we are afraid of reloading all of the software on this computer as the settings could be lost. Has anyone encountered this situation and found a successful way to reload the Client without a total reinstall?
