Win 98 Update

when I try to update win 98 thru the windows update website I receive the following message;

“Your organization has decided to provide software updates internally rather than through Windows Update. To download updates for your Windows computer,please see your network administrator”

my pc is a standalone home pc. I suppose it is a registry setting – but which one? any advise on how to get around this?
