Have a Windows NT machine with Exchange 5.5. Using PCAnywhere version 9.21 to administer. Getting blank screens on remote access. Found on Symantec’s home page that PCAnywhere depends on the proper modem type being setup. Currently it just goes to Com 2 where modem is but should be setup for USRobotics Sportster through modem icon in Control Panel. When going to control panel to select modem properties get an hourglass then nothing.Pulled up Microsoft tech note Q254954 for this but did not resolve problem. In fact after trying to repair registry keys now get two modem icons in control panel and neither will open when double clicked. Also tried copying the modem.cpl file from a working machine to this one with same results. Hoping not to have to reinstall the server for this issue. Thanks.
