win nt4.0 print services with unix

I was printing from unix to win nt 4.0 on a dot matirx computer. It will no longer respond. I deleted from the unix and readded to network -it adds fine but does not print. I stopped TCP IP print service and tried restarting – error message
2186 service not responding to control function.
Uninstalled TCP ip print services and reinstalled-still will not print – any ideas?
