Hi
i need urgent help to recover my programs and data from my laptop PC.My machine operating system is WIn XP and I made a mistake of changing the keyboard layout of my laptop PC .By this act the keyboard and mouse has got disabled .
The PC tecnician known to me installed win 2000 and by virtue of that I can now use the keyboard and mouse .
I reinstalled WIn XP ,in the same drive but in a different directory , with the hope that it will restore all my datas and mails but now i have 3 Operating system but i still can not access the data/programs/mail etc under my original operating system nor can activate the original OS.
At the time of booting i am getting a msg saying that hibernation file is missing/corrupt.
I need help in restoringmy PC to its original state and I need only one OS (Win XP)instead of the present 3 OS.
How to change the keyboard layout of muy original/first OS – Win XP?
How to remove other OS after rectifying the keyboard problem?
