Win XP & NT4 LAN

Good evening.
I currently run a small LAN (Cat5e) on NT4 with 35 Win98 clients. The main LAN usage is for users to connect to MS Access backend database & Internet / Email access over Cisco ISDN router. I am in the process of purchasing new PCs with Win XP pro preinstalled and wondered if anyone had any horror stories regarding this working OK with NT4 Server or MS Office97. Presumably they should work OK but I dont want to continue with the purchase only to encounter problems with connectionsto server etc. I am also hoping to intergrate the telephone system into the PCs in the near future if that has any bearing on it.
