Win XP Telephony Issues

Has anyone been able to get WIN XP to work with telephony software? I’ve tried programs like Faxtalk Pro and SuperVoice, and have not been able to get WinXP to recognize the speakerphone feature of my modem. While running Win 98 SE or Win ME, I had a less stable (than Win XP) system, but I was able to use my PC as a data/fax/voice telephony system. You guys have any suggestions?
