Win2000 backup

I have run the backup scheduler in win2000 server.It’s Working fine. I have some problem where it just display the file that has been selected for backup but never run. Every time i have to click start backup option to make sure the backup is run. How to run the backup without clicking the start button. Is there any command/script i should update.
