win2K autokill

i just upgraded my pc to win2k, my pc specs are beyond the minimum hardware req. for win2k O/S.. installation went fine , upon reboot, as soon as i move my mouse, the machine shutsdown automatically, so i reboot again, same thing happened… is there such a thing like an autokill with WIN2K- and i wana find out whats causing this..
