I currently have one 13G and one 10G drive split both into two partitions each for a total of 4 partitions. I would like to combine all partitions into one to be put on a 30G WD drive. Here are my problems. Western Digital Diag won’t clone one driveand I assume it is due to NTFS file systems. Drive Copy will not work either. I tried an article that I found here about xcopying all data and copy the SAM database and things through the recovery console, but the 30G drive would not boot afterwards. To make a long story short, if anyone has tried to combine multiple partitions (Partition Magic???) onto one larger drive in Win2k and has done so successfully, please let me know. I’d like to learn more about the boot process of Win2k so that I may be able to work this out. Thanks for your time.
