Win2K locks when right click on desktop

I am ghosting PC’s with a Win2K build and about half of them lock up when you right click on the desktop. Sometimes if I reimage them they will be ok. This is all done with the same CD. I have a fix called kill.zip. If you run a batch file within kill.zip it is supposed to uninstall SMS and then reload it after a restart. Then you are supposed to wait 15-30 min and try it again. It doesn’t work, they still lock up. Please help!!
