Win2K Pro Automatic Shutdown

I just upgraded two workstations from Win98 to Win2K. Before the upgrade, I think the PC would power-off automatically on shutdown. Now it goes like it’s going to power-off (I can hear something click), but then it comes right back with the notice that it’s OK to turn the computer off.

Is there a setting I’ve missed somewhere?
