Win2K Pro conn. limit by ?

I know Win2K pro has a 10 connection limit; What level is this on? For instance – I know you can’t have 10 clients map a drive letter to a share – that would be a persistent connection, but what about running application server software that managesconnections. I specifically want to run PDMworks Vault software (by SolidWorks) on a Win2K pro machine but don’t know if it will work for sure. This same scenario seems similar to running a web server on a Win client OS; which I have done. Abyss webserver on a Win98se box for an intranet calendar server. That works fine. (or maybe 10 people never hit it simultaneously?).
Any specific experience (with PDMworks) and direction appreciated.
